Best decorated tree

Every year, the elves that go stay with their families take pictures of their Christmas Tree and send it in for a competition to see whose family has the best tree....

When we got here the tree was fine--but we thought it needed some help if it was going to win (and we LOVE to win).

We think this tree will be a shoe-in to win!  hehehehehe

Fun!

One of our favorite things about coming to the Urbanawiz home is this fun toy they have hanging from their ceiling.   We all climb up and then we hook our feet over the seats and hang down and swing as it goes faster and faster.  We take turns who gets to turn it on and off--I don't know which is more fun, trying to stop it so someone falls off, or riding it!
If we lived here we would spend all our free time doing this!!!

Happy Birthday Aaron

We were so excited when we found out that it was Aaron's birthday on December 3rd!  We knew Aaron's mom and dad were tired from all the things going on this week so we decided to help out and put together a train table they had gotten him for his birthday!
We all had fun building it--well, except Ryder who only wanted to play Legos!  I TOLD him it was a TRAIN table not a LEGO table, but he wouldn't listen--no matter how many times I said it (and I said it plenty!)  While the rest of us worked he just played.

Jingles just wanted to play Legos too--it was hard to get him to do any work.
I guess it wasn't so bad when I saw what Ryder had been doing with the Legos--he wasn't totally useless.
You would think with all that time he could do more than just "Happy Birthday Aaron"

Climbing Trees

Our favorite thing to do at the NP is to climb trees.  We are always really careful and use the right safety gear.  We couldn't resist climbing the Urbanawiz's tree right away--we are used to Christmas Trees (after all that is all we have at the NP), but most of the time they don't have ornaments on them.
I LOVE climbing-it is so exciting...but Ryder and Chipper didn't want to.  Well, I should say that Chipper was in time out--he hadn't been behaving and so he had to stay in time out all night...poor guy.
But I didn't let that distract me from having a good time!  Look how high that tree is!

We're here!!!

Whew!  I can't believe we have already been here 10 days and I haven't even blogged yet!  I have taken lots of pictures so I can update all my friends back at the NP (North Pole) with all the fun things we have done while on vacation.  I feel sorry for a few of my friends that didn't get their jobs done in time to go on vacation for themselves...so I'm going to have extra fun just for them!

We had heard that the Urbanawiz mom and dad weren't going to buy the kids a Lego advent calendar this year--and that the kids were SOOOOOOO sad about it...so we decided to surprise them with one we got from Santa's workshop.  We also noticed that they had this nice advent calendar at home....but nothing was in it!!!  So we decided to fill the calendar for them.  Actually, I decided to fill it because if I gave all that candy to the boys they would eat it all instead of putting it in the right spots!

I couldn't believe it when I saw the boys playing with legos when I was working hard trying to get everything done before the kids woke up--it isn't like we had all night because we were late getting here already (thanks to the boys not packing until it was time to LEAVE--ugh).
Ryder really wanted to open the doors and see what was in the Lego calendar, but I told him he better not!
