We are packing

 It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we last left the Urbanawiz home!  I kept meaning to update my blog with our activities this year, but Santa had a bunch of elves that retired and he had a hard time finding new elves and so we had to work double shifts all year to get ready...We were really worried that we wouldn't get done in time for our vacation with the Urbanawiz Family, but luckily we got done.  I felt kind of bad about the blog, then I saw that there were a lot of blogs out of date...so I didn't feel as bad.

This is a picture I took last week as we did a Christmas Eve drill at Santa's workshop.  Everything went pretty smooth, but there was a little hiccup when the Elves forgot to pack the presents for all of Canada in Santa's sleigh--oops!!  Good thing we have lots of rehersals!

I'm packing up so I can be ready to leave Wednesday night--I keep telling my  brothers that they need to get packed too, but, knowing them, they will wait until an hour before it is time to leave and then just throw a bunch of things in their suitcase and forgot all the stuff they really need....

I'm so excited!!!!  I hope the Urbanawiz kids are good this week so we can spend our vacation there!

Snow Angels

Everyone was talking about snow again today--it was so exciting.  School even got canceled because there was going to be ice on the roads.  We knew that we could play in the snow this time.


Yeah...apparently not.  I can't believe they canceled school for a little bit of ice--at the North Pole it is like this for our summer vacation--this is perfect beach weather!  Oh well, we decided to play in the snow (I mean sugar) anyway...it was really fun!

 Ryder did his snow angel then left and went sledding on the stairs again--he had a lot of fun yesterday!

 So much snow...so little time!

Sledding

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days...I just get so busy at night that I forget to take pictures, then I mean to just write about it, but I fall asleep and the next thing you know it has been 4 days with no posts...oops.

Once again, we miss the snow.  There were a few snow flurries today and we got excited about going sledding tonight....we forgot that snow rarely stays around in Georgia.  so we decided to go sledding on the stairs instead.  We found some great sleds around the house--I don't know why they have them if they don't get snow that much, but we were happy to use them!

We might do this again...we had so much fun (but we had to be careful not to laugh and scream too much and wake everyone up!)

Breakfast

I love to eat breakfast...I always get confused when we are on vacation because the Urbanawiz kids eat breakfast when they first get up--but we always eat breakfast right before bed---some of the things those kids do is a little wacky.

My brothers sometimes make a mess eating--you know how boys are.... I like to take pictures of them so I can show Santa how messy they can be...I feel like I am always cleaning up after them!

The cereal was really good though!

Snow!

Georgia doesn't get much snow--and the North Pole gets A LOT of snow...so we miss the snow a lot when we are here.  Lucky for us, we've been able to find lots of cotton balls that work kind of like snow.  They work really well for a snowball fight.  The good news is that they don't melt so you can use them again and again!

Our snowball fights are a lot of fun!

The Tree....Again

My brothers wanted to decorate the tree again--since the Urbanawiz Family took down our decorations from last night.  This time it was pretty silly....

It was pretty fun to put all the toilet paper on the tree--we think it looks pretty good like that.

The boys wanted to hide to see the kids' reactions when they come down the stairs so we hid on top of the TV...I think we were hard to find!

Really??? Just like a boy

My Brothers are so so weird.  They decided to re-decorate the tree.....using Underwear!!!!  I really can't believe they actually did it.  I took a picture so you could see how embarrassing it is....boys.

 

I on the other hand, spent the evening updating my blog!
